The delegation was made up of: Prof. Yonshua Song (Rector of the University), Prof. Rui Martins (Vice Rector of the University and Director of the Institute of Microelectronics), Prof. Ruibing Wang (Director of the University's Office of Global Affairs and Professor at the Institute of Medical Sciences), Mr. Patrick Pai Lim Lou (Secretary of the Office of Global Affairs). Prof. Vírgilio Almeida, UnB's Secretary for International Affairs, also attended the event.

Initially, Prof. Alba Melo gave a short presentation on the Department of Computer Science (CIC), focusing on the high-quality research carried out by faculty and students. This was followed by a discussion on possible topics for collaboration between CIC and departments at the University of Macau. The meeting was very fruitful and both CIC and University of Macau professors plan to meet later this year to detail possible collaborations.
